Unique to Mississippi and our neighboring states, we have a very successful ventilator/trach weaning program. We work closely with our referral hospitals, both acute and long term acute care, to wean patients off ventilators.
We have developed a very cohesive team approach to healthcare at FCMH. Our physicians meet daily with all clinical department heads to review our patient's needs and their individual treatment plans. Our nurses work closely with the patients and families to meet all expectations. Our ancillary services (Certified Nursing Assistants, Dietary, Maintenance and Environmental Services) are considered an integral part of our healthcare team. Below are just a few highlights of our program.
